1) Key Stage 1Tours and activities

The following tour is available for children in Key Stage 1.

The Revd Ted Tour

It is particularly relevant to children in years 1 and 2.

 

2) Key Stage 2Tours and activities.

Guided tours for years 5 and 6

The children learn about some of the history of the Abbey as well as how it is used today as a place of Christian worship. This tour is particularly suitable for children in Year 5 using the QCA scheme of work "What do places of worship teach us about Christianity?"

3) Guided Tours for older Key Stage 2 children.

Exploring Signs and Symbols

This tour is particularly suitable for children in Years 3 and 4

4) Pre School and Nursery Children

Younger visitors would still enjoy meeting Rev Ted and his friends. They may also like to help him find the teddies hidden in the Abbey and then enjoy eating teddy bear biscuits for their break!
