The Phoenix Singers of Shrewsbury will be celebrating their 60th anniversary with a performance of one of the greatest choral works in the repertoire, Bach’s St John Passion, in the spiritual atmosphere of Shrewsbury Abbey. They will be joined by Noxwode Baroque on period instruments, and by professional soloists including Mark Dobell of The Sixteen as the Evangelist.
