By car
In addition to limited street parking we are located directly opposite the Abbey Foregate car park; postcode SY2 6AH. Charges apply from Monday to Saturday 8am to 6pm. Blue badge holders are not exempt from charges though concessions are available. Coaches are also welcome subject to a separate fee tariff.
By bus
Shrewsbury bus station is situated at Raven Meadows, Shrewsbury SY1 1PL. This is a few minutes walk from the railway station. There are bus stops travelling in both directions directly outside the main doors to the Abbey; routes 8, 8A, 19, 19A, 23, 436, 540, X4, X5. Shrewsbury is a friendly place. If requested the bus driver will let you know as you approach the Abbey bus stop.

By train
The nearest mainline station is situated at Castle Foregate, Shrewsbury; postcode SY1 2DQ. Direct services run from Birmingham, Manchester, Chester as well as many services from North and South Wales. Please visit trainline.com for further details.
Pedestrians
The Abbey is situated approximately one mile from the railway station and bus station. Pedestrians approaching the Abbey through the town centre are advised of a steep hill at Castle Foregate and again at Wyle Cop.
