Readings for Holocaust Memorial Day

Poetry for Dark Times
To commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day, there will be a poetry reading by Jean Boase-Beier and Angela Jarman.
Some of these poems were written by people held by the Nazis in camps and prisons during the Holocaust in Europe in the 1940s. We will also read poems that reflect upon later atrocities, such as the Cambodian genocide of the 1970s, or the abuse and killing of Rohingya people more recently.
We will end with a few poems of hope.
