FREE GUIDED TOURS OF THE ABBEY CHURCH

Shrewsbury Abbey

Three of our expert guides will be in the Abbey between 1.30 am and 3.30 pm to show you around the beautiful Abbey church and share their extensive knowledge. Everyone is welcome.  The tours are free but if you wish to give a donation towards the upkeep of the Abbey it will be gratefully received. Handel’s Messiah – Shropshire Charity Concerts

Shropshire Charity Concerts (incorporating Shrewsbury School Community Choir) presents the 32nd performance of Handel's Messiah in aid of local charities, held in the stunning setting of Shrewsbury Abbey. Following the loss of the 2020 "Messiah" to Covid, we very much hope to see you at our 32nd annual performance of Handel's "Messiah", to raise funds for local charities,  at Shrewsbury Abbey on 18th December (please note different date from previous performances). Tickets will be available from TicketSource from January 2022, or at the Abbey office (10am-12noon Monday to Thursday)
