PUCCINI’S LA FANCIULLA DEL WEST – OPERA
In collaboration with Ensemble SY1, Verismo Opera brings Puccini’s La fanciulla del West to Shrewsbury Abbey. All profits are donated to the Team Cleo Fund (https://www.thebraintumourcharity.org/get-involved/our-supporter-groups/supporter-groups/groups/the-team-cleo-fund/). Owing to the generosity of Shrewsbury Abbey as also all performers donating their time and talents, it is estimated that less than £5 of your ticket purchase goes to operational costs allowing the balance to be donated directly to the Team Cleo Fund. For this project, we have a fund-raising target of £15,000. Please help us fill the Abbey! This opera will be semi-staged and accompanied by a full orchestra. With a stage and professional lighting, the abbey will be transformed for you to enjoy this diamond of exquisite art performed by professional operatic singers. There will be English surtitles.
